Active Ingredients: Homosalate 10%, Oxybenzone 6%, Octisalate 5%, Avobenzone 3%, Octocrylene 2% (all FDA-approved sunscreen ingredients).
Other Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol (slip agent), PEG-8, Polyethylene (thickeners), Dimethicone (silicone slip agent), Titanium Dioxide (thickener/opacifying agent), Bentonite (absorbent), Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (vitamin-based antioxidants), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (water-binding agent), Picea Excelsa (Spruce) Wood Extract (anti-inflammatory agent), Sodium Polyacrylate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer (film-forming/waterproofing agents), Lauryl Glucoside (wetting agent), Ethylhexylglycerin (water-binding agent), Disodium EDTA (chelating agent), Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin (preservatives), Sodium Hydroxide (pH adjuster).
DIRECTIONS: Apply liberally prior to sun exposure and as needed after swimming and/or perspiring. Spray onto skin and massage in. For facial application, spray product onto fingertips and apply (do not spray directly on to the face or near the eyes). Can be used over any Paula's Choice skin-care product.
TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING:
- All Paula's Choice sunscreens contain antioxidants that can help boost a sunscreen's effectiveness.
- Paula's Choice Ultra-Light Sunscreen Spray Lotion SPF 55 may be worn under makeup or alone. Allow several minutes for it to set before applying makeup.
- As is true for all sunscreens rated greater than SPF 30, they protect skin from 97% of the sun's UVB rays when applied as directed. There is no approved regulated rating for UVA protection. This is true worldwide.
- If pump clogs, rinse for a moment under hot tap water.
- May be applied to exposed areas of the scalp to prevent sun damage.

SPF 55 Sunscreen
A great, light sunscreen that doesn't make my skin flaky or give a whitish cast. My new favorite sunscreen!

Paula's best suncreen yet.
I purchased this mainly because it states that it was "very water resistant." I have a problem with suncreens, by the end of the day, getting into my eyes and irritating my contacts (a huge pain). This sunscreen is wonderful; I have very oily skin and this product actually stays matte all day (even better, I would claim, than the mattifying face lotion with spf 15). And like I'd hoped, it stays put. The spf is ridiculously high, and I thought it might be overkill, or that I would look like I was wearing something, but alas it blends in effortlessly. A plus.

An excellent new product
I bought this thinking it was the (terrific) Paula's Choice spray sunscreen that I've been using for a year or two. This product is different--it doesn't spray a fine mist, making it not work well for my toddler. But it's great for me--the improved SPF is great for those of us who live at altitude, and it has a nice weightless matte finish. A great choice for a waterproof and/or high-SPF sunscreen, I would recommend it to anyone.

Not Matte IMO
I'm sure this works great as a sunscreen and application is easy with no whitish cast, but it's pricey and is not matte. I tried it for several days (in lieu of my Neutrogena SPF 55 with Helioplex) and it's ok but shiney. Today, I'm letting it set for a while before putting on my makeup and my face looks greasy. Once I put on makeup, it's not horrible, but I don't want to look so shiney. I would not call this "matte" at all. Back to the Neutrogena!
