Gently wipe brush over powder eyeshadow, going in one direction. Apply color to eyelid, crease, and/or underbrow, depending on your choice of color placement and desired effect. Build and blend color as needed. For softening the edges of applied eyeshadow, gently stroke the brush over the area you wish to soften, blending up and in or up and out, depending on the intended effect. Be careful to not brush down because this can visually pull the eye down too, which make you look harsh or tired.
