Water, Cetyl Alcohol (thickener/emollient), Butylene Glycol (water-binding agent), Salicylic Acid (beta hydroxy acid/exfoliant), Allantoin, Bisabolol (anti-irritants), Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol (silicone slip agents), PVM/MA Decadiene Crosspolymer (film-forming agent), Sorbitan Stearate, PEG-40 Stearate, PPG-14 Butyl Ether (thickeners), Propylene Glycol (slip agent), Laureth-7 (emulsifier), Polyacrylamide (water-binding/film-forming agent), C13-14 Isoparaffin (thickener), Sodium Hydroxide (pH balancer), Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea (preservatives).
Directions: Apply to clean skin. Dispense a dime-sized amount and massage over face. Follow with a Paula's Choice Blemish Fighting Solution (if needed), moisturizer, and/or specialty product. For daytime, wear under a product rated SPF 15 or higher. Note: Persons allergic to aspirin should not use a product containing salicylic acid.
I've been using your 1% Beta Hydroxy Lotion for about three weeks now and it has completely cleared up the back side of both of my arms! Where there once was a red bumpy irritated rash, my arms are now smooth and supple!

I just wanted to let you know how much I love your books and your website, and now I love your products, too. This summer I ordered the 1% BHA Lotion and the Skin Balancing Cleanser for Normal to Oily Combination Skin, as well as some specialty products for oily skin, such as the Oil-absorbing Facial Mask, Blemish Fighting Solution, etc.
Well, since I've been using your cleanser and the BHA lotion, I've found that I rarely need to use the specialty products! As a woman approaching her 40s, I'd always been annoyed that I still experience frequent breakouts, but since I've been using the cleanser and BHA, I have noticed a marked decline in breakouts. I guess I don't have oily skin after all, but have just been using the wrong products all this time!

I just started using Paula's 1% BHA Lotion and it is fantastic! I switched from the 2% BHA Liquid which was wonderful, but I wanted a lotion base for the fall and winter months. I often struggle with lotions that cause breakouts, but this product feels like silk on my skin, and exfoliates at the same time. I have noticed within a week of using it that my skin is more radiant and less irriated from rosacea. I like to use it with the One Step Cleanser. Thank you Paula!
