Directions: Pick up some of the blush on the full end of your blush brush (Paula's Choice offers an excellent
Blush Brush). Knock off the excess, and brush it on with even strokes moving down along the cheekbone (not underneath the cheekbone—that is where contour is applied!). Apply in a downward direction (the same direction as you apply your powder) to help retain a smooth appearance, rather than a line or stripe over the cheekbone.
A favorite trick of makeup artists (including Paula) is to use two shades of blush to create definition and add color. This is done by first applying a neutral blush (Flawless Nude, for example) under the cheekbones and blending softly up onto the temple area. A brighter "pop" of color is then applied to the apple (the fleshy part that is best seen when we smile) of the cheek and blended into the contour shade. This look is seen time and again on almost every fashion magazine cover and in countless "before and after" pictures.
Since each shade of Barely There Sheer Matte Blush is so soft, you can easily alternate between or blend several shades to create a variety of looks or your own "custom"
blush shade.

A bit too powdery
The color selections are, as always, exquisite and the texture is so decadent. Since I am extremely fair I thought it'd be great, but it was *more* obvious than a light dusting of Soft Matte Blush, because it made my cheeks look too powdered. Probably best for people who don't use a finishing powder?

Your cheeks but better!!!
I adore this oil-free blush. I love the ease of application, the matte finish (which is not easy to find in department stores these days), the colors, the wear, and they do not break me out. I have fair skin and blue eyes and love the Softest Pink, Rose Whisper, Flawless Nude, and the Sheer Rose (great for evening or an extra pop of color). Please don't stop making this Paula.

I received a sample of the translucent rose along with my first order of the BHA gel, and was amazed at the softness of the color. it lasted all day on me oily complexion! even after blotting my face twice. a quality product @ an amazing price.
